Thousands of injury cases handled since 1997 — most arriving by referral from other attorneys and former clients. Every case is different: results reflect the specific facts, injuries, insurance, and law of each matter.

What Those Recoveries Look Like

The insurer's first offer was $85,000. Our client's foot had been run over by a store forklift. We declined the offer, filed suit, and litigated the case to more than double that number.

A semi-truck ran a red light and seriously injured a husband and wife. Prepared as a trial case from the first week, it resolved before trial for $725,000 — the largest of the firm's recent recoveries.

The at-fault driver's small policy was exhausted almost immediately. We pursued our client's own underinsured-motorist coverage to a six-figure resolution — the kind of recovery most people never learn their own policy can provide.

Most of the firm's matters resolve at or near the available policy limits — because each file is prepared as if it were going to trial, and insurers price that preparation.

A word about the giant numbers other firms advertise: a settlement's size is set mostly by the injury and the available insurance — not by the lawyer's billboard. The measure that actually matters is whether your case recovers what your facts and coverage make possible. That is the standard this firm is built around, and it is why other attorneys refer their own clients and families here.

About these results

The case results described on this page are actual, documented resolutions from the firm's files, stated at the gross amount before fees, costs, and liens. Client names and identifying details are omitted for privacy. Amounts are not annualized, averaged, or projected.

We are a selective trial practice: every case we accept is prepared as if it will be tried. That preparation, case by case, is what produces results — in negotiation, in mediation, or in the courtroom.

Important: Past results do not guarantee, warrant, or predict a similar outcome. Every case depends on its own facts, injuries, available insurance, and applicable law. Figures reflect gross amounts before attorney fees, litigation costs, and medical liens. This page is attorney advertising and general information, not legal advice; no attorney–client relationship is formed by reading it. The Law Offices of David L.
